Produced by the Contemporary Art Institute of Detroit, Tonight@theCAID is a bi-weekly interview talk show filmed in front of a live studio audience, featuring guests who are accomplishing great things in the city. Filming at The Detroit Contemporary in the heart of the city, the show features a wide range of guests. From artists to musicians to political activists, Tonight@theCAID brings out the city’s best, brightest, and most shining examples of modern world changers in Detroit. Exemplifying Detroit’s own DIY spirit, and the spirit of a community in rebirth, this show is unlike any other. Made here, about here.

NOTE: We are shooting on three Canon HV40 cameras, and will provide all other filming equipment.


None. This is an extremely low budget production, no one is being paid, above or below the line; however we will be providing catering and craft services on set, both on build days and on shooting days. All crew will be credited in each episode, and provided with a DVD (when our workload allows) of each finished episode. During the show concessions from the CAID Gallery are also available and free to all crew.
