Crew Call for Sitcom Pilot Shoot
Seeking cinematographer for sitcom pilot to be shot in and around downtown Detroit in October 2012. Shooting dates will be October 1st-4th, and a large amount of the production will take place in the early morning and over night as we have to shoot in a restaurant/bar and those are the only times when it is not open.
- Cinematographer: The project is a pretty straight forward single camera shoot, but one that requires us to move quickly and effortlessly through the shot list. Pre-production will require us to meet and discuss options and work through any problems that we could encounter during the course of shooting. Owning your own equipment is a plus, and an ability to assemble a team (gaffers, grips, etc.) also a plus, but neither are mandatory. A large part of your task will be to properly light interiors. Setups should be minimal relative to the size of the project, but a handful of meetings between now and the shoot will take place to allow us to plan ahead as much as possible. Work experience should include feature and/or short films, web-based releases. Both industry veterans and new-comers may apply.
The quality of talent and the professionalism of the production team and crew will make this collaboration stand out. We are looking for team players!
Payment will be on a deferred status pending the sale/pick-up of the pilot.
