Casting Actors for the New Kid Rock Music Video

The I Group Model & Talent Management

The I Group is holding auditions for the next Kid Rock music video! They are looking to cast 40 people from all walks of life and all ages to participate in the upcoming video. This will be an interview style audition. Interviews will be held on Saturday, October 22nd. Then, if you are selected for the music video based on your interview you will be just shooting just one day. You must be available for the entire day. The shoot date is Thursday October 27th, 2011.

How to Apply:

If you are interested in applying, please email 2 digital pictures for submission. Make sure you are the only one in the pictures, preferably against a background that is not distracting and should be well lit. Please take a little extra time to take and select the proper photographs. The first digital picture should be just your face with natural hair and make-up with the other picture of your full body. Winsome Sinclair & Associates a New York based casting company and Ryan Hill Casting is in Detroit casting background musicians for the film “Sparkle”. “Sparkle” is shooting in and around Detroit from now until November 17th, 2011.

Available Roles:

  • AFRICAN AMERICAN MALE MUSICIANS: (age 25-45) Piano players, drummers, organists, guitarists, bassist, trumpet, trombone, tenor sax, baratone sax, french horn and tambourine players.

Filming a Music Video for a rock band called The Product, this Sunday in Fenton, MI. We are looking for some people to come down and be in the video. We will be filming this Sunday, June 19th from 8:00am until 2:00pm.

The Product has had music featured on the TV show Jersey Shore, their music has also been the theme music for TNA Wrestling pay-per-views as well as theme music for The Detroit Red Wings Playoffs.

“Human” Music Video Casting Call (Ann Arbor, MI)

Casting Male Actor with Experience in Contemporary or Lyrical Dance

Singer/songwriter Charlene Kaye’s new hit song “Human” is being made into a highprofile music video this summer. Kaye, who frequently collaborates with “Glee” star Darren Criss, has had success writing music since graduating from the University of Michigan.


The music video will be shot in Detroit between May 25 and May 26. More specific times will be provided as the date approaches.

Available Roles:

  • Lead Male Dancer:  We are looking for an attractive male actor in his 20s who has experience with contemporary and/or lyrical dance. The role is the most prominent in the music video.


The music video is a low‐budget project, so the job will be unpaid, but expect to have a great experience with a talented crew that are motivated to turn a great song into a great music video. The film is an M‐agination production and will be posted on Charlene’s official site, YouTube, Vimeo and other popular sites.

Spooky Studios & Caged Rat Productions are looking for original music for a feature length film “The Nightcrawlers”. We have just finished principle photography and are about to start the editing process. This hilarious comedy is full of laughter, tears, excitement, and drama. Therefore we are looking for all different types of music, with or without lyrics. All genres are permitted, rock, rap, techno, country, folk, punk, etc. So if you are in a group or band, and would like to have your original music in a feature film, please contact us.


“The Nightcrawlers “is a film about a group of friends living in a house in Detroit. The head of the household is a young man named Eric, who is very wealthy. He pays all the bills, giving the rest of the group the opportunity to do pretty much whatever they want. It’s a story about the Peter Pan syndrome and the repercussions of living that lifestyle.

Submission Requirements

  • All music in MP3 format
  • All Band & Song Info

NOTE: All music must be original. Sending us your music doesn’t guarantee it will be used in the film. If your music is selected, we will need hand written permission sighed by everyone in your group stating that we are allowed to use your music in the film. So make sure you include all contact information.


Music artist will reserve full credit for their songs, but there will be no immediate or future financial compensation. You will however have the opportunity to grow your fan base. The film is being sent to several film festivals including Sundance. So there is no telling how many people will hear your music that otherwise would not.
