International Drummer Music Video

Kay Mohamed is producing a new project for Gerard Victor. He will be shooting a fun, laid back live performance music video for an international drummer on Monday, October 22th 2012. They are looking to feature talented local models & actors. Scenes filmed will be 3-5 hours starting at 5:00pm. The location is at a venue located in Downtown Detroit, MI.

Available Roles:

  • 1 Lead Model/Actress: Female, open ethnicity, age 18+
  • 10-15 Extras: Male and female, open ethnicity, ages 18+

Compensation:

These are not paid roles. Talent will receive a digital copy of video. Craft services will be available.

Casting extras for the feature film, “Misled”. Shooting is scheduled for November 2012 in Detroit, MI.

Synopsis:

Two brothers from southwest Detroit struggle to improve their lives. Unable to afford college and faced with expulsion – and meanwhile supporting his mother – Jason turns to stripping which turns to prostitution, posing a huge dilemma since he has just begun the first true love relationship of his life. Bobby, fresh out of prison and owing convicts inside, turns right back to selling drugs but one misstep follows another and he’s soon in over his head with the local mafia. His attempts to draw Jason back into a life of crime fail. Jealous of Jason’s new relationship – and how their mother dotes on Jason while Bobby can never do right in her eyes – Bobby’s own drug habit spirals him down into a darker and darker place, exasperated by the re-emerging memory of the horrible childhood secret he shares with Jason.

Casting Actors for MMA Themed Music Video “The Ring”

Kulayd Featuring Sweet Crystal

On November 17, 2012 World Fame-Us Hot Spot Entertainment Studios will be filming a music video at The Palace of Auburn Hills for an MMA themed song titled “The Ring” by recording artist Kulayd featuring the rock band Sweet Crystal. We are looking for MMA fighters and actors who would like to be showcased within the music video. The video will be filmed by former Fox 2 news assignment editor Brian Lucas of Plymouth, Michigan. The production is sponsored by Donofrio MMA.

“You Rascal You” Casting Notice for Full Length Musical Film

“You Rascal You” is a Grand Valley State University sponsored full length musical film, written by Christina and Stephanie Choriatis. Looking for actors/actresses available for production during the months of January, early February, and early April 2013 in Grand Rapids, MI.

Plot:

The story is about a young boy Aiden who aspires to become a jazz trumpet player, and ends up learning lessons from a local jazz club musician, Bud. The tale involves their friendship and how the two of them overcome their internal problems of the past through love of music.

Audition Details:

Available Roles:

  • Aiden: (male, Caucasian, ages 9-11): Lead role. A young boy wise beyond his years dreams to be a jazz trumpet player in order to connect with his absent mother. Develops strong friendship with local jazz musician (Bud).
  • Bud: (Male, African-American, mid 20’s-40): Lead role. Local jazz trumpet player who struggles to overcome the death of his younger brother. By mentoring and befriending Aiden, he overcomes a lifetime of sorrow. Sweet, charming, and has a million dollar smile.
  • Calvin: (Male, Caucasian, late 30’s-early 40s): Supporting role. Aiden’s father who prevents his son from achieving his dreams. Can be controlling but mostly still in suffers from his wife leaving.
  • Loretta: (Female, African-American, mid 20s—early 30s): Supporting role. Talented jazz singer who works with Bud at the club. Romantic interest with Bud and sang with Aiden’s mother in the past. Smart, beautiful, and sweet.
  • Scott: (Male, Caucasian, 30’s-50s): Small role. Jazz musician at club where Bud and Loretta work. Jolly and likes to know everyone’s business.
  • Noelle: (Female, Caucasian, mid 20s-30s): Aiden’s free spirited mother. Jazz singer. (This is not a role, only need model for record covers, photographs, posters, etc.)
  • Extras: Extras needed for Gospel choir, church members, jazz band members, jazz club attendees.

Compensation:

No compensation for project, may offer gas reimbursement depending on location. Food and drinks will be provided on set for talent.

  • Hot Country Chicks (Daisy Dukes, cut off shirts, etc)
  • Any military personnel in uniform
  • A little person for a featured character
  • We need a semi truck and trailer, preferably red or black but anything will be considered.

“Neon Prairie” Auditions for WSU Student Film

Looking for serious, dedicated actors for an upcoming short film made by Wayne State University students. Entitled “Neon Prairie”, the story is about a young girl struggling with drugs who reconnects with her grandma after learning she is refusing treatment for cancer. By fixing up her grandma’s old bike, she discovers more than she bargained for.

  • Shelly: A high school student, petite, (preferably) brunette, rebellious attitude.
  • Nana: Age late 50s – early 70s. Petite, sweet, charming nature, the ideal grandmother
  • Diana: Age 30-45, suburban mother, smoker
  • Scott: Black or blonde hair, angsty teenager, “up to no good”
  • Mr. Felton: Muscular, very athletic, stern, age 30s-40s. (2-3 lines)
  • Karl: Age 30-45. Brown hair, mustache, quiet nature (2-3 lines)
  • Extras: Shopkeeper, bike race announcer, and bike race committee member, and participants for a bike race. If you’re interested in being an extra and you also have a bike, let us know!

Compensation:

These are not paid roles. We’re students on a limited budget trying to get the best final product. However, we do intend to submit the our film to various festivals and we will provide food and beverages.

Final Round Films Casting Call

Final Round Films is casting lead and supporting characters for an upcoming untitled short film. This film will be shooting in Sparta, MI late October 2012. This is a small production consisting of four crew members. The shoot will be divided into two days. All actors and extras should be in the Grand Rapids or surrounding areas.

Available Roles:

  • MARK: (lead) mid 30’s, Mark has lost his family to a gruesome murder. Must have a suit.
  • JENNIFER: (minor) Only seen in flashbacks. Late 20’s early 30’s. Attractive. This role will require being covered in blood.
  • EXTRAS: Male and female, all ages. Needed for flashback scene in park.
