Radish Creative Group, a creative production company in Royal Oak, MI, is producing a holiday commercial for a very reputable client.

We are in need of vintage Christmas home movies that feature Caucasian and African American families from the 1960’s and 70’s. The footage will be used very tastefully in this nostalgic commercial.

Compensation:

A use fee will be paid for any footage used in the completed commercial.

Wonder what it would be like to attend the hottest events, star in your own commercials, blog for CW50detroit, and make fabulous friends along the way? That is exactly what our Detroit’s Gossip Girls get to do weekend after weekend in this great city.

Do you think you have the glitz and the glam to be a Detroit’s Gossip Girl?

All you have to do is upload a photo or video of yourself and tell us (in 390 characters or less) why we should pick YOU! The life of a Detroit’s Gossip Girl doesn’t just include VIP access to local events…DGGs will also win fabulous prizes! Our top fifteen qualifiers will receive mani/pedis, courtesy of Studio 1 Salon & Spa, along with professional headshots, snapped by Brian Heath, the mastermind behind Detroit Fashion Week. And our top two? Well, they’ll join Lauren and be crowned our newest Detroit’s Gossip Girls.

Then comes phase two, where fifteen finalists (as voted on by our CW50 panel) will come to CW50 Studios to film a video audition, consisting of a commercial shoot and taped interview with 98.7 AMP Radio talent. Lyon Productions Studio Casting Call for Extras and Actors (Flint, MI)

Flint Casting Call

Lyon Productions Studio is holding a casting call Saturday August 21st from 10AM to 6PM. They are producing a TV Pilot and Webisode Series as well as a Music Video this month that they need cast for. There are several minor roles as well as four key characters.

Available Roles:

  • Maggie: Open age range Mid 20s to 30s, Asian or Exotic Female Look, Very Attractive, no sense of humor, sharp tongue.
  • Lisa: 22-Early 30s Very Attractive yet highly Naive Airport worker sex symbol.
  • Unnamed Male: Mid 20’s to early 30s, An outgoing Gay Male Character that is “proud and loud.” Very quick witted and spends most of his time in the mirror.
  • Veriosu Characters: Open Age Range and Sex for various characters at an Airport.

There are several other episode based characters they need to fill but do not have a character breakdown available until the day of casting.

They are also looking for a handful of minor characters for a SAG ULB that begins filming this month.

Extras!

Seeking general extras for the Music Video Alien Rockstar.

Compensation:

All of the speaking roles are compensated. Background extras would be uncompensated.

“Detroit 1-8-7″ Featured Extras Casting Call

Detroit 1-8-7

Real Style is casting a man and a woman, of Middle Eastern descent, who are between the ages of 35-55, for the ABC television series “Detroit 1-8-7″.

Interviews for these roles will be held today. Casting for these parts must be completed ASAP.

About the Roles:

These featured extras will be acting as the parents of a young girl who is a suspect in a murder. The extras selected will need to show a great deal of emotion. You will need to act in this scene. YOU MUST FIT THE AGE REQUIREMENT as you are parents of a 15 year old girl who is Middle Eastern. PLease do not reply back if you do not fit this criteria.

Ever have one of those days when you remark “you’ve got to be kidding!” as if you were in complete disbelief. Well, these videos reflect really good bone-head satire about life in general. Filmed in Grand Rapids Michigan for the community television (cable) stations, the videos present several clips that show some of the dumb myths and absurdities that exist in today’s society. It looks at all those things that we observe as totally unbelievable yet these things do happen, not just on this production but also in every day life; all the weird stuff that you can imagine. Enjoy, because America you’ve got to be kidding me.

Casting:

Our Show, You’ve Got to Be Kidding Me America is looking for people (adults) that are under 4′0″ tall for our comedy skit show on Friday nights on the ABC network, WOTV channel 4 or 41.

Payment is on a per show basis.

We are currently seeking talent for an educational video that is filming this August and September in Detroit, MI. The positions we are filling are for one day. There will be filming days available in late August and early September. This educational video is for those entering the medical field.

Job Details:

This is a speaking position. The positions are great for actors/actresses/spokes models or students of acting/communications or speech.

The age range is 18-50 and we have several positions available. We have a special need for college students 18-24.

Compensation:

Each person hired will be paid $400 for the day they work and each will receive a copy of their performance.
