Casting two young male actors for the musical, “Project X”. Talent must be in driving distance from Berkley, MI and willing to make a commitment.

Plot:

“Project X” is a new musical centering around 4 teenagers entering Middle School. Realizing that Middle School isn’t just about what it appears to be, they scramble to fit in and lose track of what’s really important. This show tackles difficult subjects such as Popularity, Peer Pressure, Betrayal and Staying True to Yourself.

Now, they must make a choice between the Friends they always wanted-or the Friends they’ve always had. This smash hit musical premiered November 10th to audience approval, and went on to play to 80 people. This is a teen written show. By themselves, these teens have assembled a 9 person cast with 5 original songs with dance, and have been featured in the news several times and have been recognized by Broadway stars. The show has been a great success, with Standing Ovations both nights. From 7 year olds to 70 year olds, “Project X” warms the heart and captures each audience member it encounters. People laugh, cry and applaud at this musical. This show is entirely original.

• Brenton: (Lead role) Male, ages 12-15.  After being betrayed from his best friend, Brenton is determined to win back Max’s friendship. Although geeky, gets tons of laughs; funny. (Must sing and act well and have limited dance ability.)
• Ricky U/S: (Lead role) Male, ages 12-16.  The cool guy of KBS. Suave, slick and smooth-Ricky uses Max, the lead, to do stuff for him while he gets enjoyment out of it. Trish, the female lead is in love with Ricky, but the feeling is not mutual. Must be handsome and at least 5’4. Although the call says ‘U/S’, you may get to perform in February. (Must sing and act well and have limited dance ability.)

• Gertrude Mitchell: African-American female, early 60′s. Giselle’s grandmother. A “tell it like is”, old school & jazzy grandmother who is dealing with the early stages of dementia. Very loving, caring, and supportive spirit.
• Greta Mitchell: African-American female, late 30′s – 40′s. A modern day “mommy dearest” from the hood. Bitter, jealous and envious of her child. Age progresses from late 20′s to 30′s.
• Greg Mitchell: African-American male, mid -late 20′s. Brother of giselle. Very stylish, outgoing, and smart with a strong personality.
• Sequoia Fitch: African-American female, giselle’s hilarious best friend, very flashy and colorful with her wardrobe. Proud of her “ghetto” roots. Very comedic/dramatic.
• Nurse Stella: Caucasian female, 30′s. Nurse at the local clinic with a “kim zolciak” look and attitude from real housewives of atlanta. She’s a motivator and sometimes a voice of reason.

Mid Michigan Renaissance Festival is looking for hard working dedicated actors to join them this year. Help us make the Journey into 1543 Germany, a small village of Cleves, with a wound too tight Duke, preparing for the visit from the King and Queen. With his mischievous sisters constantly causing problems, his wife always trying to underhand him and his aloof Mother talking to his recently deceased father how will anything be ready in time. Help us bring our Fairytales to life in the Children’s Knoll, when the Wicked Witch forgets what Fairy Tale she is on and gives Hansel and Gretel a poisoned apple, and traps Snow White to fatten her up! We also need roaming towns’ people! A town flirt to win the hearts of patrons, or skeeve around as the towns’ thief. All ages, and experience welcome!

Unaware of the fate that awaits them, the Third Class immigrants dream of a better life in America, the newly enfranchised Second Class dream of achieving the lifestyles of the rich and famous, and the millionaire-Barons of the First Class dream of their hegemony lasting forever. The ship itself, a dream deemed to be life-protecting and unsinkable by the ship’s Architect Thomas Andrews, journeys into legend in the hands of its Captain, Owner and Crew — as a Stoker, a Lookout, and a Telegraph Operator reveal from their perspectives why Titanic was going too fast, saw the iceberg too late, and could not summon help to arrive in time.

Casting Call for hit stageplay “Under The Influence” inspired by the New York times bestseller called “The Pact” about three teenagers who make a promise to each other to become doctors.
