Blacklist Media Group is casting actors, dancers and extras for Dayah Mari Music Video “Inside My Dream”.  Filming will take place in metro Detroit.

Plot:

Our story follows Mari, who is trying to work her way out from behind a mob run bar. She gets off work late one night and heads to her other job, an aspiring pop star. She is trying to balance love and a potential career. Will she ever have it all?

Available Roles:

LEAD:

  • MALE – Anthony (25), Must look Italian. NOT Jersey Shore

Dancers: (B-Boy / Hip-Hop / Break / Krump / Whatever Here is a chance to show the world what you got!!!)

  • MALE – (20′s) The Distribution - The First dancer Mari runs into on the street
  • MALE – (20′s) The Execution - The Second dancer Mari runs into on the street
  • MALE – (20′s) The Resolution – The Third dancer Mari runs into on the street
  • MALE – (70 and up) Old dude that brings it. He totally busts out the robot.

EXTRAS:

  • FEMALE - 4 Party girls (20′s) – Attractive girls hanging around the mob guys.
  • MALE - 10 Italian Street guys – (all ages) Bring the Guido factor.

Tri Global Productions will be holding auditions for their new sitcom “All 4 Love” for male and female actors who can do Detroit Ballroom Style dancing. Auditions will be held on Saturday, November 12th, 2011 on the Northwest side of Detroit from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. This comedy guarantees to bring back the laughter and comfort you felt watching some of our recent classics like Martin, A Different World, and Living Single. The humor is amazing and the writing is second to none.

Available Roles:

Singer/songwriter Charlene Kaye’s new hit song “Human” is being made into a highprofile music video this summer. Kaye, who frequently collaborates with “Glee” star Darren Criss, has had success writing music since graduating from the University of Michigan.

Dates/Locations:

The music video will be shot in Detroit between May 25 and May 26. More specific times will be provided as the date approaches.

Available Roles:

  • Lead Male Dancer:  We are looking for an attractive male actor in his 20s who has experience with contemporary and/or lyrical dance. The role is the most prominent in the music video.

Compensation:

The music video is a low‐budget project, so the job will be unpaid, but expect to have a great experience with a talented crew that are motivated to turn a great song into a great music video. The film is an M‐agination production and will be posted on Charlene’s official site, YouTube, Vimeo and other popular sites.

Casting talent for the film “Fireworks: The Movie”. The weather is breaking and our filming will soon begin. The Promo shoot is currently scheduled for March 12th.

Available Roles:

  • Drum Line & Horns: (4 to 6 member team) High School groups allowed with parental consent.
    Date of Shoot: June27 & July 3rd
  • Acrobatic Cheerleader: (2 member team) Must be able flip flip flip.
    Date of Shoot: July 3rd
  • Female Singer/Rapper: (Non label or contracted individual) Female we choose will perform live at all events for movie. Recording time is paid for. Music will be in movie as well as your performances.
  • Kid Dance Team: (4 to 8 member group) Must be able to perform new style “Hustles”. Age group 7 to 13
    (Adult leader required for contact.)

  • Hip Hop Dance Team

Compensation:

  • Drum Line & Horns:  Team Pay – $200.00/Plus incentives
  • Acrobatic Cheerleader:  Team Pay – $80.00/2hr
  • Female Singer/Rapper:  Pay – Sponsorship via Movie Mania -IMU day rate.
  • Kid Dance Team:  Pay – $125.00
  • Hip Hop Dance Team:  Pay – $100 to $300. Depends on shoot time & rehearsal needs.

Motor City Movement: A Collaboration of Choreographers is now looking for fresh, new groups for our next show on December 30th at the Crofoot Ballroom in Pontiac, MI!

Motor City Movement is the largest and hottest dance showcase in the Detroit area!! This is a show you want to be a part of, and a show you DO NOT WANT to miss!! The show brings out the best of the best 18 & up dance talent in metro Detroit!

How to Apply:

If you are interested in submitting a piece for consideration to be in the show, please follow the guidelines below:

  • Send a video of at least 45 seconds of choreography of the style of dance you would like to have in the show.
  • There needs to be at least 2 people doing the choreogreaphy in the video. We are not looking for soloists/freesyle dancers for the show, we are looking for choreographed groups and crews.
  • All styles of dance are welcome! Really on the search for a hot hoofing tap group and a sexy latin group/couple.

Alliance Casting Corporation along with Film Producers and Talent Agents will be holding an open casting call for Actors, Models, Singers, Dancers, and other Talent for upcoming films and projects.

Date: October 9th, 2010
Time: 10:00 AM – 9PM (Only taking those signed in by 6:00 pm)

What to Prepare:

All talent needs to bring a professional headshot and a resume.  There is no fee for registration!

  • Singers: Prepare 2 contrasting pieces of music, 16 bars each There will be NO accompanist
  • Actors: Prepare a monologue, at least one minute in length Be prepared for improv exercises May be asked to do a cold read/improv scene
  • Dancers: Prepare 2 dance numbers of contrasting styles, no longer than one minute in length Bring own music, CD player will be provided with a hook up for IPods
  • Models: Prepare to showcase your walk and poses Female models in bathing suits and heels Male models in bathing suits and flat soled shoes/barefoot.

Styles: Commercial and high fashion.

NOTE: For models, if you are under 18 years old you may walk in age appropriate clothing that is figure flattering. Be prepared to be weighed and have your measurements taken.

Some Tips to Remember:

  • We want you to audition at your best ability so when you walk through that door, please remember we are a team, so smile and let’s have a great time.
  • Dress appropriately. The way you present yourself is your interview.
  • Confidence is key. If you are not confident in your talents, how can you ask us to be confident in you. SELL IT!
