Bio:

- Mike Renda started acting when he was eight years old, he did his first talent show in the 2nd grade, and that’s when he realized what he wanted to do. Mike then joined the Dearborn Youth Theater classes directed by Mary F. Bremer, He was involved with the local theater productions also for Dearborn Family Theater, as the years progressed so did his roles, he stuck with that for 14 years and had done over 16 theater productions. Mike then joined the drama club in high school, did several shows with his 4 years there.

After high school Mike Renda Joined “The Second City Detroit” Training Centers for comedy improv, he graduated after one year. He then joined The I GROUP Talent Agency, started with extra work for SAG feature films. Mike has been in 12 films (Independent and SAG Features) He’s very involved with local films, such as Motion Picture Institute of Michigan and Wayne State University Films.

Mike performs at improv theaters like “GO Comedy” in Ferndale, MI. He takes acting classes at “The Purple Rose Theatre” and dose workshops when available. He was just signed exclusive with The I GROUP Talent Agency and now is represented by his agent, Tony DiMambro. Just recently Mike Renda was nominated for “Outstanding Achievement by a Featured Actor in a Musical” for the production of Disney’s “High School Musical” (On Stage) in the 2009 PAGE AWARDS.
