Cast and Crew Needed for 48 Hour Film Project (Metro Detroit Area, MI)

This year, American Firelight is once again teaming up with Uranium City Films for the Detroit 48 Hour Film Project. That’s 48 Hours to write, shoot, edit and deliver a short film for competition.

The 48 Hour period is Friday July 24th at 7pm to Sunday July 26th at 7pm with screening of the film the following weekend. Most cast and crew would only be needed for Saturday July 25th (all-day).

We are looking for male and female Actors of all types and ages.

We also need to fill several crew positions including but not limited to: Lighting, Sound, Music, Camera and Production Assistants (General Help).

If you are interested, then please e-mail a copy of your resumé and at least one current photograph to . If you have a Demo Reel that you would like to show us, please let us know and we will make arrangements.

Please note that while this a non-paying non-union gig, it is a fantastic opportunity for exposure since the film will definitely show at the first screening and if it is successful will go on to compete around the country and perhaps around the world as well as possible DVD distribution by the operators of the 48 Hour Film Project.
