Students of Compass College of Cinematic Arts are casting for a short drama called “The Inner Hunt” written by the director of photography John LeFan, co-written by the director Michael Ludema, produced by Jake Lenkiewicz and assistant producer Stephanie Norton. Shooting in Grand Rapids, MI.


An alcoholic hunter returns to the woods where he accidentally shot and killed his son to face his inner demons and ends up in a struggle for his life with a mysterious attacker.

Available Roles:

  • Andy: Male. Age: 30-45. Should be a gruff hunter type. Reasonably fit. Beard a plus. Must be comfortable handling weapons. He is an experienced hunter and father struggling with alcoholism and guilt over having killed his son.
  • Son: Male. Age 8-11. Need a very innocent look. He is innocent and excited to be hunting with his father.


This film is volunteered based and volunteers will receive a fun experience that can be put on your portfolio or reel. Travel expenses and accommodations will NOT be provided. Yet, good food will be provided (FREE FOOD!). DVD’s will be given upon request.
