Seeking Actors for St. Vincent Catholic Charities
St. Vincent Catholic Charities (STVCC) is seeking actors for one of their mass marketing advertisements to help recruit foster and adoptive parents for children living in the foster care system. Commercials will be produced for television and radio broadcast throughout the Mid-Michigan area. No lines will be required as the spots are for non-speaking roles. However, be prepared to play roles showing realistic emotional responses without speaking. Those who are chosen are required to be available for the shoot date scheduled for Saturday, April 14th, 2012 from 9:00am to 8:00pm in Lansing, MI.
STVCC is a charitable non-profit that serves children, families and adults of all beliefs who are in need. STVCC helps those living in crisis find safety so they may begin to thrive. Services include STVCC Family Preservation, Foster Care, Children’s Home, Adoption, Counseling, Housing Services for the Homeless, Refugee Services and more.
- 1 woman who can play the ages of 35-45 of European American ethnicity.
- 1 woman who can play between the ages of 60-70 of African American ethnicity.
Actors will not be paid as the production is for a non-profit. However, the time volunteered may be used as a charitable contribution. Actors in the commercials will receive a DVD copy of their commercials for their portfolios. Commercials will also be on display at YouTube and on www.stvcc.org.
