Squawking Parrot Productions Needs Fresh Indie Music for Sitcom (Detroit, MI)

Production Company Seeking Bands for Sitcom

Squawking Parrot Productions (Bullseye, Take Me Away, Fantasy Football The Movie) is seeking unknown bands to submit their material for a fresh independent sitcom currently being filmed in the Detroit Area. We are looking for all types of music for incorporation into our series.

There is no pay, however compensation will be given to any music chosen in the following way…
At least one :30 second commercial (we will produce), featuring your CD cover and how the viewer can purchase your music (website/ebay/itunes/whatever) we will also be happy to add your disc(s) to our webstore and work our sales arrangements individually.

For more information or to apply email us at thedivascloset@aol.com.

The sitcom will be shown on cable access stations around the state (MI) and hopefully nationally, and it will be broadcast on YouTube along with other online outlets. When season 1 is complete (8-10 episodes), we will be shopping the series to various cable networks.

This is a great opportunity to get your music out there in a different media and a unique way to capture a new audience.

  1. Threshold says:

Hello, my name is Rob Auerbach, and I am a member of the Detroit area progressive rock band Threshold. Our songs are definitely different, but the range of style and emotions make them interesting and satisfying to listen to.

All songs are original compositions, written and performed by Threshold.
