Over 3000 Extras Needed for “Sparkle” Movie
“Sparkle” will be filming for 6 weeks in Detroit, Michigan and Ryan Hill will be looking to cast extras for this feature film. Michigan residents will get first consideration for roles.
Available Roles:
- Extras: (Age 18+) Open ethnicity. Over 3000 extras will be needed over a 6 week shoot in October & November 2011.
NOTE: There will be a few spots for kids under 18 on this film, but please wait to submit until a more specific call is released for child actors.
Compensation:
These are paid roles.

I would love to be an extra for the new film ““Sparkle” I am 14 years old and this would be my first film. I am pretty outgoing and funny. I love to act it is one of my favorite things to do.

I have been watching Sparkle for years and I know this movie very well. I even bought Aretha’s soundtrack recently. I have been studying all the roles and the extra’s. This will be a great remake, I hope that I am selected to be in this film, I would be more than committed to the project.
I echo the same sentiment as many of the other Sparkle casting hopefuls. I am excited and anxious! I have always wanted to be a part of a musical such as this one. I love 1975′s Sparkle to this day! I just purchased it on dvd back in May. Great acting! Great movie! Great music! It would be a blessing to be a part of the remake of this classic!
