“Snow and Coffee” Auditions for Short Film

“Snow and Coffee” Casting Call

Casting for the short film, “Snow and Coffee”. John Katona, one of the writers of “Snow and Coffee”, has won 1st place at the Grizzdance Film Festival for two consecutive years at Oakland University.

Audition Details:

Auditions will take place on Sunday, February 20th from 1pm – 3pm. The filming will take place on a weekend in March.

Available Roles:

  • Sean – (20 – 25) straight-forward, intelligent, quick, not funny (but picks up on jokes), and well-groomed; like the lead male character from Bottle Rocket or Stranger than Fiction.
  • Nina – (20 – 25) eccentric, unique, funny, and a bit of a hipster; like the lead female character from Breakfast at Tiffany’s or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

NOTE: The two lead actors are calm and realistic. They are not overly dramatic, in a positive or negative way. Many of their jokes are for the audience, and the characters let them flow without acknowledgement of the delivery or reception of the line.

These are not paid roles but great material for a reel.
