Okemos Modeling and Talent Agency is accepting submission for Asian American actors for a short film to be shot and submitted to the Busan International Film Festival in Korea.  Shooting will take place in the Lansing, MI area.


Sun-hwa puts her lover Tae-suk in the hospital after a one sided fight ends one relationship and simultaneously begins a new one. Cyclical in story and soundtrack, Push Pin Surgery mashes Japanese manga, Hollywood romance and Korean horror.

Available Roles:

  • 1 Asian American Female (age 20-35) – Attractive, slim
  • 1 Asian American Man (20-35) – Attractive
  • 1 Asian American Female (18-25)
  • 1 Male Actor who can play a convincing Nigerian Doctor (Nigerian Accent is a must Age 35-40)
  • 1 Female Actor who can play a convincing Russian Doctor (Russian Accent is a must Age 30-40)
  • 1 Asian American Actor to play a Front Desk Attendant (Any Gender/Age)


This is an unpaid opportunity but food and drinks will be provided.
