Extras of All Ages Needed for Short Film
Casting extras for the 35-minute short film “Projection.” Talent will be needed on May 25th from 9:00am to 2:00pm and May 27th from 7:00pm to midnight. Both day shoot at The Civic Theater in Farmington, MI. Extras do not need to be available both days, but it would be great if some people could make both.
This dark, multi-layered psychological thriller tells the story of a young woman (Abigail Cooper) who has long struggled to conceal a past traumatic event from her loved ones, but must relive it when the movie she attends violently comes to life, recreating the past and teaching her an important lesson. While the film’s main theme is overcoming fears, it also deals with the universal emotions of loneliness and learning one’s self-worth.
- Extras: Extras will play theater goers during a hostile take-over of the theater. Seeking a wide range of ages… so if anyone has aunts, uncles, parents, or grandparents available and willing, we would love to have them on set.
- Men: Collared shirt (tie is optional) No jeans. Dockers or other dress pants encouraged. Neutral colors.
- Women: Skirts are encouraged, but not required. If wearing pants, please wear dress slacks. Solid colors (dark reds, blues, greens ideal). Sundresses are an option.
No compensation, but both days will be catered and all extras will receive credit in the film.
