What would the world be like if eight-year-olds were in charge? Next-door nemeses Pauline and Cameron find out when they’re forced to Play Nice. Joyriding, medical malpractice, and macaroni and cheese ensue in this autobiographical comedy shot on 16 mm film from reclusive director Tomás Calvo.
- Adult Cameron/Child Cameron: A very mischievous boy who likes monster trucks, sugar gliders, and zombies. He loves to create chaos, and tends to improvise rather than plan ahead. Other parents don’t allow their kids to play with him since he has a penchant for destruction. (Adult Cameron must pass for 20-35 years old and be able to act childlike. Child Cameron must be able to pass for 6-10 years old.)
- Adult Zoe/Child Zoe: A proper girl who loves classic cars, babies, and veterinary medicine. She is overly bossy and very socially outgoing. In charge of her own popular clique at school. Unlike Cameron, she is definitely a planner and likes to have things go her way. (Adult Zoe must pass for 20-35 and be able to act childlike. Child Zoe must be able to pass for 6-10 years old.)
- Celia: Cameron’s wearied mother. She’s seen it all and nothing seems to surprise her anymore. Extremely busy with her job as an air traffic controller and doesn’t have time for Cameron’s destructive nature. (Celia must be able to pass for 30-45 years old.)
- Zombies and Children: We will be needing a lot of extras to play Zombies and Children. These roles will also require auditions.
The 5 main roles are paid. Extras zombies and children are unpaid roles. All talent, regardless of role, will be provided with catered lunches, DVDs and premiere tickets.
