Casting Call for Male Actor
Jason Caridi, a recent graduate in Screen Arts and Culture from the University of Michigan is wrapping up his feature-length film and recently wrote a scene he wants to add, where the protagonist, a Director, meets his idol, the late Italian film director Federico Fellini. However, it is in a dream sequence, and Fellini is not Italian, but a big (because Fellini was big) African-American guy.
“Shoot!” is about a director trying to make a very personal movie, but retreats into his dreams and acts of violence when logistics, people and excess seem to be holding him back.
- Federico Fellini: African American, male, heavy-set. You will drive a car down Main St. and speak 2 pages of dialogue in one take.
This is not a paid role.
