Crown Productions Casting Call for Actors
Crown Productions is holding open auditions for the stage play “Give Me 1 Reason” on December 6th in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Plot:
“Give Me 1 Reason” deals with the power of forgiveness. A family’s willingness to forgive is tested when Andre winds up hospitalized from living how his father has lived before him. Now Theresa is forced to deal with issues she has turned a blind eye to for far too long. With original music that rekindle hope, “Give Me 1 Reason” will have you redefining forgiveness as well as restore your hope in family.
Performance Dates:
May 4 & 5, 2012 Lydia Mendelssohn Theater Ann Arbor, MI.
June 22 & 23, 2012 Family Life Community South Lyon, MI.
August 24 & 25, 2012 Village Theater at Cherry Hill Canton, MI.

Available Roles:
- 2 male supporting actors 18-30 looking. Ability to sing is mandatory for one position.
- 2 female supporting actors on 18-40 looking. Ability to sing is not needed.
- 9 understudies. Four characters are singing characters
Compensation:
These are paid roles. Compensation will be discussed when role is offered.

NOTE: Auditions are for adults only (18+). Come prepared to recite both a dramatic and comedic monologue (2 minutes each). Head shots and resumes are not mandatory, however; they do leave a lasting impression. Auditions will be video taped for later referencing. Must be available for rehearsals held on Monday and Wednesday evenings from January-May. Rehearsal for the remainder of the year will be determined later.
