GVSU 16mm Student Film Casting
This is a short film project for a 16mm class at Grand Valley State University, and is a story that revolves around two young girls trying to escape an unhappy home situation by running away. Unfortunately, surviving in the woods is more difficult than they imagined, despite their intelligence.
The characters are keen on the social implications of running away from their oppressive environment, although their escape is founded on an idealistic vision of self-reliance. The characters are faced with the dilemma of killing for their own survival, a tension threatens to destroy their friendship and the belief in their own ideals of self-reliance all together.
The shooting dates would be Wednesday November 7th in the late afternoon, and Saturday November 10th.
Saturday, November 3rd from 12:00pm until 4:00pm
