College for Creative Studies Casting Calls -

We will be casting actors this Friday, February 25th for the following student short films. These film are scheduled to be shot over the next two months.

Available Roles:

Project #1 – An adaptation of Poe’s The Raven traces a man’s slow descent into madness.

  • 1 male, 40-50, distraught lover
  • 1 female, 30-40, deceased lover

Project #2 – A young comatose man meets the small group of wizards who inhabit his subconscious. This piece is heavy in visual effects and will be shot mostly on a green screen.

  • 1 male, 35-55, major non-speaking role

Project #3 – A young man living alone is stalked by a band of neighborhood children.

  • 1 male, 20-30, timid/despondent, lanky body type
  • 1 male, 60-75, quirky grandfather
  • 1 female, 20-30, cute/friendly love interest

Project #4 – In an intersection of two daydreams, a young woman has a brief encounter with her childhood self.

  • 1 female, 7-11, brown hair preferred

Friday, February 25th from 3:00pm – 7:00pm

These are unpaid roles in student projects; a copy of the finished film will be provided for your reel.

If you are interested in applying please attend the open casting call on February 25th. Please bring a headshot, resume & prepared monologue to the audition.

NOTE: If you have been to a College for Creative Studies casting call in the past 6 months, we already have your headshot/resume on file and will contact you directly if we are interested in seeing you for the projects listed above.
