Children, Families, Adults in 1920s-1940s
Lynchpin Pictures LLC will be filming period scenes for a narrative documentary about the railroad industry in Michigan during the Great Depression this fall. A variety of non-speaking roles are available for children, families, and adults in this project.
The feature will be made available for distribution and broadcast at the end of 2009 and early 2010. Actors will appear in period vignettes that illustrate life during the time period, including scenes in rail yards, railroad stations, farm houses, and city streets. Shooting will take place in or around Owosso, Michigan in October.
We are looking for people with characteristic, memorable faces and appearances: -children (8-12) for sons and daughters, hobos -adult males (30-60) for hobos, businessmen, and fathers -adult females (16-60) for daughters, girlfriends, hobos, and rail workers Actors should be able to travel, take good direction, be able to provide period clothing or suitable alternative, and should not be adverse to working outside. Scenes may only take an hour to film, but you may be included in more than one scene. Compensation for travel is negotiable. A copy of the final product will be provided.
