New Harlem Renaissance Productions

Producer Gregory Smith & writer/director Malcolm X. Johnson in association with BlueRedGrey Productions and New Harlem Renaissance Productions are currently in pre-production on the short film “The Restaurant Scene” which is one segment of the feature length film “Dear Detroit: A Love Letter”. They are currently casting a female actress to play the role of a waitress. Shooting is tentatively scheduled to begin on Sunday, October 2nd at Macomb Mall in Roseville, MI. There will be 3 consecutive Sunday film days.

Available Roles:

  • Donna: Caucasian woman (late 30′s & over) to play the role of the waitress.

Compensation:

This is not a paid role, however meals and copies of film will be provided as well as a gas stipend, depending on travel distance.
