Auditions are being held for the non-union short film “Burn Through”. Looking to cast 1 actor and 1 actress. Shooting is scheduled for March 18, 19 & 20th in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Synopsis:

“Burn Through” is a semi-dark drama following the desperate attempts of a struggling artist (Roger) to get a painting out of his head onto the canvas. What makes this special, is that Roger believes the painting has something to do with the future; and not in a good way. He begins to shut himself off from (Christine), the one person he cares about.

Available Roles:

  • Roger: Male, early to mid 20′s. A stereotypical, struggling Artist archetype. Slim. Needs to be able to look distressed. Previous painting experience would be a plus, but not required.
  • Christine: Female, early to mid 20′s. Attractive. A girl pursuing a relationship with a struggling artist.

Compensation:

Leading Roles are paid (based on budget, negotiable) Food will be provided all days of shooting. An excellent way to get another film under your belt and try out a more serious role! Make some friends and have a great time with us. Cast will receive a Digital Copy of the film (DVD upon request).
