Casting Call for Actors
Detroit Playwright Craig A. Davis Sr. is holding auditions for his hilarious spin-off stage play “Stanford & Son”. Based off the award-winning sitcom of the 70′s “Sanford & Son”.
Audition Details:
Saturday, November 26th, 2011 from 3:00pm to 4:30pm.
Virgil H. Carr Cultural Arts Center (in Harmony Park in downtown Detroit)
311 E. Grand River
Detroit, MI
Available Roles:
- Freddie Stanford: A 60′s African-American grumpy old man.
- Lamar Stanford: The 25 year old son of Freddie Stanford’s that wants out of the family business.
- Aunt Hester: The christian gospel preaching hell raising sister-in-law of Freddie Stanford.
- Buddy: 60′s
- Shady: 60′s
- Willie: 60′s
- 2 Police Officers
- Percy: A crackhead, 30′s
- Extras: Many other extras needed.
Compensation:
These are paid roles. Most of our characters are paid, just the extras are receiving credit.
