Auditions for “Framed” Web Series

iFilmFlops is Casting Actors

iFilmFlops is holding auditions for our web series “Framed”. We have nearly all of the parts cast, but are still looking for actors for a few more roles. We plan to shoot the pilot over two weekends: October 26-27 and November 9-10. The remaining four episodes will be shot in spring. The series will be posted on a weekly basis next summer. The locations for the shoots will be in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area, although the pilot will mostly be filmed in Hamburg Township near Whitmore Lake.

In “Framed”, software developer Javier must figure out who framed him for murder and why, while also following leads as to what really happened the night he lost his wife and son in a suspicious car accident.

Audition Details:

Thursday, September 27th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Ypsilanti District Library (in conference room 2B upstairs)
5577 Whittaker Road
Ypsilanti Township, MI 48197

Available roles

  • Lead Character’s Wife: Ideally, she will be an early-mid 30’s Latina. However, the age range is more important than the ethnicity. This will be a recurring role.
  • Police Officer in Training: The role was written for a young man, early 20’s. This will be a recurring role.
  • Upper-Middle-Class College Student: Male. This character has a major role in the first episode.

These are not paid roles. Our goal with the pilot is to increase our visibility and launch a Kickstarter campaign to fund the rest of the series. At this point, we are all volunteering our time and talents, but if the Kickstarter campaign succeeds, some compensation will be available.

How to Apply:

If you are interested in applying, just attend the audition on September 27th. For questions about this casting call, please email them to:
