“Atlas” Casting Call for Superhero Movie (Dewitt, MI)

RandomGauge and NPro Film Casting

RandomGauge and NPro are teaming up again to bring Atlas to life! Atlas is a superhero movie that puts a new concept on an old archetype. This is an independent feature that will require quite a bit of dedication from the cast as well as the crew. We are hoping to keep production contained to August, but it might overflow into the first couple of weekends in September. This will be weekend only shooting.

IMPORTANT: If you can’t clear your weekends for all of August and possibly part of September, do NOT audition for a main role. Don’t waste our time or your own.

Open Casting Call Location:

We will be holding a casting call for three main parts and a few smaller roles. There will be an open call on July 10th starting at 11am and will run until we run out of potential cast members. We will have an overflow day BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, so if you can’t make the open casting call, please contact us by email.

The open casting call will be held at 126 E. Main St. in Dewitt (upstairs from Main Street Coffee house).

Actors:

Atlas – Our story’s protagonist. He is a larger than life, witty hero.
Age 20-35, well built, athletic and if you have any fight experience, it would be most appreciated, but not required.

Samantha (Sam)- Atlas’ girlfriend. She is a sassy upbeat fashion designer. She is not a damsel in distress. She has a softer side, but is quick to put Atlas or anyone in their place.
Age 20-35, modelesque with a wide emotional range and excellent body language.

Greco – The antagonist. The most challenging role in the script. He has a wide and ever-changing range of emotions. He’s part psychopathic lunatic, part calculated criminal, part compassionate vigilante.
Age 20-40, wiry build, flexible and animated physically.

Extras Casting

Of course, we also have a host of other roles to fill: extras, small speaking parts, walk-ons, and we need people for them all. If you want a smaller role, feel free to reach us by email. We need goons, bystanders, upper class professionals, parents, children, etc.

Compensation:

It should be noted that any form of payment will be deferred until after the film is finished, if at all. We are putting our own money into this while we try to get additional funding. This is a work of passion first and foremost. It should also be noted that we already have plans to take the on the festival circuit. Your performance WILL be seen by the masses.
