Casting Call for Actors, Lyon Productions (Flint, MI)

Multiple Film Casting Call

We are holding a casting call this Saturday, July 3rd at our Production Office here in Genesee County. There are several roles available in multiple age ranges.

I have two projects in which I am holding a casting call for. Primarily, they are for our upcoming film we are shooting starting the first week of July. The film being shot in July includes filming on location at a cabin resort on Lake Huron, directly on the beach.  A couple characters we are casting for are also for a SAG Feature film we are shooting this August with a star studded cast of name actors.

Roles:

TARA – AGE RANGE 18-24 – Slender, Athletic, Fit – A sweet and fun loving girl who’s daring personality can get her and those around her in trouble. Slightly the sex appeal of her friend circle, she is confident and a playful tease but rarely intentionally the “bad girl.” Though sometimes her best friend can bring out the worst, or best in her, depending on public opinion. (best friend of Amber)

AMBER – AGRE RANGE 18-24 – Skinny/In Shape/at least one specific “wow” feature – Amber makes up for her care free, “live in the moment” attitude with a figure that gets her out of trouble. She has the personality and priorities of a guy and it shows in every aspect of her life, from how she talks, wears her clothes, to the way she acts. This isn’t something she is oblivous to either. (best friend of Tara) Amber often motivates Tara to take the type of risks she wouldn’t normally do. (Amber’s character tends to be in highly suggestive situations)

STEVE – AGE RANGE 18-24 – Attractive/Athletic – The tendancies of a leader but a habit of defering the physical conflicts to his friends. Somewhat smooth, he considers himself a ladies man but still is generally a decent guy.

THE HOTEL MANAGER – OPEN AGE RANGE (MALE) – “Quirky” – Character Actor Needed – The Hotel Manager needs to be interesting and quirky with a unique look. A small but important role. A good improv and/or physical actor would also help.

MASTER RUSSO – ASIAN – Open Age Range – A tricky martial arts instructor who lends a hand and becomes a hero. The role is a tribute to Pat Morita and the actor should be good with physical comedy and timing.

In addition to the above roles I have SEVERAL small principal speaking roles that I will be considering actors for so feel free to attend regardless of your age range.

How to Apply:

PLEASE contact me by email if you intend on attending the casting call at Brad@LyonMotionPictures.com.

Place the words (FLINT CASTING CALL) in the subject line followed by the CHARACTER NAME or OTHER if you do not fit a character. Include a head shot and a full body photo – these do not have to be professional. If you have an actor’s resume please forward that as well.

Casting Call Details:

July 3rd from 10am – 6pm
