4th Annual TFC Film Festival

The Trinity Film Coalition is now accepting entries for the 4th Annual Trinity Film Coalition Film Festival, that will take place September 10-11, 2010 at the Virgil H. Carr Cultural and Arts Center located in Detroit, MI.

For the past four years, this festival has served as a platform for filmmakers around the world to showcase their independent films in effort to receive global recognition. It is also an opportunity to provide a favorable networking environment for seasoned and emerging filmmakers, provide access to viable resources, create collaborative opportunities, and give birth to new business alliances.

This year will feature an electrifying weekend of innovative and cutting-edge films created by some of the most talented independent filmmakers around the world. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: best feature film, best short film and best music video.

Film Submissions

Submissions are now being accepted for the competition at a cost of $20 per submission for feature length and short films and $10 for music videos. Submission forms can be obtained by visiting our website at www.trinityfilmcoalition.com.

Wonderstruck Studios Scheduled to Move Offices into Ford Field in Detroit

Wonderstruck Studios – A Digital Animation Company & Special Effects Studio

Wonderstruck Studios plans to open offices in Detroit at the Ford Field complex in Detroit. Wonderstruck is a digital animation company and special effects studio. Wonderstruck’s Detroit offices are expected to open by June 1st, and should create 413 new Michigan jobs over the next five years.

Wonderstruck has created animation for films such as “The Lion King” and for the video game “Guitar Hero.”
